1. Purpose
TradeBoard is a shared business workspace for vehicle deal tracking. This Acceptable Use Policy protects users, customer organisations, TradeBoard and the integrity of deal data.
2. You must not misuse TradeBoard
You must not use TradeBoard to:
- break the law or encourage unlawful activity;
- upload or share data you are not authorised to use;
- access, attempt to access, or interfere with deals you are not listed on;
- bypass authentication, permissions, rate limits or security controls;
- upload malware, harmful code or malicious files;
- scrape, copy or extract data outside normal use of the service;
- harass, abuse, threaten or impersonate another person;
- send spam or unauthorised marketing;
- knowingly enter false, misleading or fraudulent deal information;
- upload excessive personal data that is not needed for the deal;
- use the service in a way that could damage availability, performance or security.
3. Deal and file content
You must only upload files and enter information that are relevant to the business vehicle deal being managed.
You must not upload:
- special category personal data unless strictly necessary and lawful;
- payment card details;
- passwords or secret keys;
- illegal, offensive or infringing material;
- files you do not have permission to share.
4. Access control
You must take care when adding people to a deal. Only add people who should see that deal.
If someone should no longer have access, you should remove or ask for removal of their access where the product allows it.
5. Security duties
You must:
- keep login details secure;
- tell TradeBoard promptly if you suspect unauthorised access;
- use accurate contact information;
- follow reasonable security instructions from TradeBoard.
6. Enforcement
TradeBoard may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, disable invitations, preserve evidence or contact affected customer organisations where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached.
Serious misuse may be reported to law enforcement, regulators or affected organisations where appropriate.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes may require users to accept the updated version.
